For All Readers Before signing up to be a contributor-
By default, copyright of all posts on We Community rests with individual authors, unless otherwise agreed upon mutually in writing (usually via email). However, We Community editors can make changes to your posts such as language edits, changing titles/introductions or eliminating redundancies, to make your post more readable or visible to readers. Any changes that impact the meaning or argument significantly will however be discussed with the writer before publishing.
Also, We Community can use excerpts or all of your post in any of its promotions, or on other sites as part of its content sharing arrangements. We Community reserves the right to reject specific posts that do not meet our writing quality requirements, or other guidelines. Author guidelines are provided in detail to you on our dashboard, once you become an author.
By submitting your post on We Community, you do not claim any remuneration. We Community pays for a very small number of pieces only, which editors commission periodically, and which usually involves work such as research or interviewing. However, good writers whom our readers like, are likely to find paying opportunities as our relationship grows.
We respect writers’ copyright, and are particular about never featuring plagiarized work on the site. If any plagiarized content is submitted, the author may lose all rights to post on the site in the future, entirely at the discretion of We Community editors.
Regarding submitted posts
I’ve submitted a post using the author dashboard but it shows as ‘pending’
Most submitted posts are reviewed within 10 days of submission. However, at times, there may be an unusually large number of posts from authors, due to which posts are queued over a longer time. Rest assured, an editor will either schedule your posts or come back to you if your post cannot be accepted for any reason.
I’ve submitted a post using the author dashboard and it shows as ‘calendared’
This means that your post has been approved and slotted into our calendar for publishing. Once calendared, a post is published within 2 to 15 days, depending on the rest of the calendar.
I’ve submitted a post using the author dashboard and it shows as ‘future’
This means that your post has been scheduled for publishing soon. Stay tuned, and once the post is published, you will receive an automated email alerting you.
Regarding published posts
My post is a ‘Featured’ post. What does this mean?
We Community welcomes a diversity of voices, from professional writers to people from all walks of life, who have something interesting, useful or empowering to share. However, the best posts on the site, which are most relevant to others’ lives, or cover less frequently addressed but important issues, are particularly inspiring, or share a personal story, or are especially well-written, are ‘featured’ on our homepage and social channels.
My post has been published but the title/image is different from what I submitted
As agreed upon in our Terms & Conditions, which we request all contributors to accept before signing up as contributors, We Community editors can make changes to your posts such as language edits, changing titles/introductions or eliminating redundancies, to make your post more readable or visible to readers.
My post was published previously, but I would like it to be removed now
When you submit a post to us, it is with the understanding that the post can be used for publication. Removing a post from the website, once published, impacts both the user experience and the search engine optimisation for the site, and hence, we do not remove posts once published.
The exception to this rule would be if there is a legal claim, prior copyright or safety issue whether pertaining to the author, or to the We Community site or team members.

Why should we trust we community?
We Community is one of its kind platform which brings in a new layer of trust and transparency in the donations made to charities by delivering products directly to them instead of giving money We have added these unique features on our platform where transparency was given high priority.
When my donated product be delievered?
All the products that have been obtained during a campaign will be delivered at the end of the campaign. However if the organisation requests us we can deliver the products before the end of the campaign.
Can i donate products offline?
We Community lists down the quantity of products that the organisations are in need of at that particular time. If any donations are made offline it would be really difficult to track them and update. So we suggest donating products on We Community and later visit the organisation once these are delivered.
Can i donate used products?
We Community is a platform only to raise new and durable products. We only list the high quality products on different campaigns of our website. There are lot a of other avenues in which second hand products can be delivered to the NGO’s.
